Hey, hey, hey, hey. Jegeurotom CEO and owner of Liddy, known as Lord Eye, Thank you, hey, thank you for tuning in. I pray the words that come out of my mouth be a blessing to you in more ways than one. Listen, happy new year to each and every one of you that has decided to come on and just take a listen to your girl. We are now in the month of February, the beginning. To be exact, it is February 3rd at 327am. And, yes, I am up. And of course, y'all know I only move on here when I'm told to move. And so I had to unpack some things, find some things. I had some run-ins, everything to stop me from getting on here this morning, but guess what? I wasn't defeated. I kept pressing on.
Speaker 1:In this season, I think it's so important for us to not get tired in the wait. I'm going to say that again Do not get tired in the wait. I was thinking about all of the challenges, the situations, different circumstances, different lives. Listen, I'm not even going to say indifferent. Life has been life and still right. You get a couple months, good, and then the next five you're like, oh my God, is this really what we're doing? And yes, that's what we're doing, but I know in this season we cannot get tired in the wait. So I was actually reflecting off of Isaiah 40. And I normally go into 31, but I went back to verses 28 through 31. And that's again Isaiah 40, 28 to 31.
Speaker 1:Have you never heard, have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of all earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. Lord, I thank you. Listen. That is such a word because it's saying to me no matter who it is, you can grow weary, but if you trust in him, we will not faint. We will not faint. We are trusting in everything else. We are trusting in us and how, because we can't make anything any different when life is happening without him. We cannot, no matter how.
Speaker 1:We tend to think that when we are blessed, when people show up, when different things take place that we end up being blessed. Would you ever take time out to think that he's literally leaned on that person's heart to bless you? And I don't care if it's in relationships, I don't care if your kids just say thank you, I don't care if you get recognition at your job, I don't care where the blessing comes from. He had something to do with the move of the room, of the person, of the shift in the environment, the person that read over the paperwork, the person that had the right to approve or deny you. He had moved in some type of way In order for you to be blessed in that very moment.
Speaker 1:God is so powerful, God is so good that even now in my life, I'm going through one thing after another, y'all, one thing after another. I swear I give me a good two months in, and then it feels like, for the next five months, I'm fighting, I'm fighting. I'm fighting for my life, I'm fighting for my mental health. I'm fighting again, for my peace. The difference about this year, though, is that my peace, my internal peace oh my God. My internal peace is still there, but I still recognize that I'm experiencing challenges that are new challenges, but God is still showing up saying I'm still here. I'm still here, I'm still right here with you. Although you don't see me and sometimes you may not hear me while you're being tested, I'm still here. Do you trust me? Do you believe in me enough to know I will never leave nor forsake you? Lord, I thank you. I don't know if that was for anybody else, but I know for sure that was for me, because I don't even know where that came from. But yes, lord, I trust you. Yes, lord, I believe in you more than I've ever, ever, ever believed in you before in my life.
Speaker 1:As I continue to go through this journey, I literally went from being behind the scenes, behind the mic, in front of the audience. I struggled with that in the beginning because y'all know this is my safe space. I miss this space. I miss this space. But I used to think this was living my truth. But I also found out I could live my truth being on, live, being out in the open, being exposed, and I'm not afraid to live in that, I'm not afraid to be authentic. I never come with a piece of paper. I never know what I'm going to say because I always ask God, you tell me what to say Word, my mouth, so that I am in alignment with you. We are aligned.
Speaker 1:It is so important for us to stay aligned with God, and that's why it's not enough for me to just say Lord, I thank you all the day. All day, I'm sorry, all day. I have to be in my word too. I have to go back to that portion of it, and now I am dedicating time every day just to spend with Him, just to spend with Him. To.
Speaker 1:Even just today, I was coming and already thinking the scripture that I was going to reflect on, and he took me back to say no, baby girl, I need you to also remember this. I need you to also know that you get your strength from me, so you cannot get weary, because your strength comes from me. God will literally give us the strength that we need each and every day. When I'm weak, when I feel like my faith is fading, he will lift me up again. He will continue to strengthen me to run and not grow weary, to walk and not faint. I will soar, you will soar On wings like an eagle, and those who we will see will know it is only God that did it for us, that lifted us up. He is here to take care of us, even y'all, when we're weak, to pick us up when we fall. Because there's one thing for sure and two things for certain Nothing can hold us back or keep us down for too long, because our God is bigger than any burden that we will ever carry in our lives. Lord, I thank you. In my weakest moment, lord, I will find my strength in you. In your weakest moment, you will find your strength in him. Oh, lord, I thank you. I thought that I was going to be on here long, but I think this is straight to the point, and all we need in this moment is to not grow or get weary in the way, because it's going to happen and it's going to be so good, it is going to be so big.
Speaker 1:Don't worry about what everybody else is doing. Don't worry about what everybody else is kidding. Focus on strengthening your faith and believing in God more than you have ever believed in him before, and remember to be grateful even when things don't appear to even change. Don't hear that, even when things around you are appearing to not change nor get better, trust Him. Trust Him not with one thing, but with all things that pertain your life on a daily, moment by moment, minute by minute, second by second basis. Make him a priority and he will for sure not return void to you. He will give us the desires of our hearts because guess what y'all? He put it in us. He knew where we would be before we even made it there. He knew. The problem is we didn't know. Because guess what, y'all? If we knew the trials, the tribulations and the situations that would arise, that we're not going to be good, that didn't turn out the way that we wanted them to, we would have been proactive to try to fix them long before we even got to this point. So I sincerely and wholeheartedly know that our strength only comes from God.
Speaker 1:In closing, when our faith soars, our walk with God becomes a run. Do you guys know what that means? When our faith soars, our walk with God becomes a run? Why? Because we get excited. That's when we get that energy, that's when we start making things happen, that's when I get back on the mic, that's when I go live, that's when I start writing my books, that's when I start to get energy like no other, because I know that in those moments I'm doing his will. So he gives me strength to do that. It's when I get in the way and I try to fix what he's already taken care of is when I grow weary. So I am asking God daily for new strength. I'm asking him to touch me in a way that he's never touched me before, and within that, I am trusting him to give me more than I have ever dreamed, hoped, thought or imagined.
Speaker 1:In this new year, I have stayed focused on everything new A new life, a new attitude, a new home, a new car, a new place. I am looking for the new new relationships, new sisters, new brothers, new friends, new friendships. I want new and I've been asking God in the new and me wanting new. Renew me so that I'm not the old way. Give me new insights, put me in new rooms, let people see me as new Lord. I thank you. I thank you.
Speaker 1:How do we get here y'all? How do we do this? Because I'm weary, I'm tired, but guess what? I'm not going to, I'm not giving up, I'm not going to quit. I'm going to stand on his word. I'm going to trust him. I'm going to trust the process, because I know my God is bigger than anything in my life currently. He's bigger than my job, he's bigger than my bills, he's bigger than my bank account. He is everywhere around me. He is so big.
Speaker 1:And, lord, I thank you for humbling me, for making me, molding me into the woman that I am becoming daily. Within you, with you by my side, there is nothing and I mean absolutely nothing that I cannot conquer, because, as I have said before, only God can turn a mess into a message, and we only experience mess, y'all, when we get in the way of what God has already planned. Lord, I thank you, trust Him, y'all. Trust Him, because God is going to give us new strength, effective immediately. I pray that not only will he give it to us effective immediately, but that he continues to give it to us daily, that he continues to pour in us strength when we're weak, and that we don't look for anybody else to help us, but we look up to where our help comes from. So, you guys, take that with you. Leave what you don't need. But this is a new season and, no matter what, don't you dare give up. Get up. Trust Him. Our strength comes from the Lord. I thank you.
